General Notes: Husband - Daniel Altman

He was born on the farm which was later owned by his son. He removed to an adjoining farm, where his death occurred, at the age of seventy-nine years. He was prominent in religious affairs and took part in the controversy which ended in the division of the congregation of the old Harrolds Lutheran Church. He withdrew with the seceders and started with them the Zion Lutheran Church, about half a mile from the parent structure.
