Harold V. Linn
EMLENTON - Harold Victor Linn, 86, of Garden Street, former teacher, school administrator, and auditor and office manager at Quaker State, died at 11:10 pm Tuesday in his home.
Born April 14, 1893 in Naylor, Missouri, he was a son of Rev. William B. and Wiletta (Smith) Linn.
In 1899 his family returned to Rockland, and Mr. Linn attended public schools in Franklin. He also attended schools in Nansen, Hazelhurst, took college courses at Grove City, and agriculture courses at Penn State before graduating from Clarion Teacher's College in 1913.
Following graduation he taught two terms of country school at Coal City and Collingwood and later served five years as principal of Rockland High School.
In May 1915 he married the former Bunnie Ginter and the couple moved to Emlenton in 1918. Soon after he became an auditor at the Emlenton Quaker State plant and retired from there as office manager in 1958.
Mr. Linn was a life-member and past master of Allegheny Valley Masonic
Lodge 552. He was also a member of the New Castle Consistory and the Zem Zem Shrine of Erie.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. L. (Lucille) Gordon of Emlenton and Mrs. Richard (Donna) Hess of Salisbury, Md, a sister, Mrs. Wade H. Bell of Rockland, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, in June 1976, and also two brothers.
The family and relatives will have visitation tonight at the Robert F. Criswell Funeral Home in Emlenton. Masonic Lodge 552 will hold special services at 7:30 pm today.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Samuel Dunning, pastor of the Emlenton United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in Rockland Cemetery.

Mrs. Bunnie G. Lynn, 81, of Emlenton, died at 3:45 a.m. today at Bashline Hospital, Grove City.
Born May 16, 1895, in Callery, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. and Henrietta Mays Ginter.
She lived at Rockland, where she attended Rockland schools, and was employed for a number of years by Rockland Telephone Company.
She had resided in Emlenton since 1918.
She was a member, past regent and former genealogist and historian and of Ft. Venango Chapter, DAR, and was an active member of Clarion County Historical Society.
Surviving are her husband, Harold V. Lynn, whom she married in May, 1915; two daughters, Mrs. Winfield L. (Lucille) Gordon of St. Petersburg and Mrs. Richard P. (Donna) Hess of Salisbury, Md.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A sister preceded her in death.

LYNN - Friends of Mrs. Bunnie G. Lynn, of Emlenton, who died Saturday, June 26, 1976, will be received at the Criswell Funeral Home, Emlenton, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Private funeral services will be held at the family residence, Garden Street, Emlenton, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Daniel Stinson, pastor of United Methodist Church, Emlenton, officiating. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery. Arrangements by Criswell.
