General Notes: Husband - James McKeehen

He obtained his education in the public schools of the neighborhood. He resided in Jordan township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, living with his parents until twenty-six years of age, and aiding his father in the operation of the farm. In 1864 he took up his residence on a farm, buying 300 acres of A. D. Knapp, seventy-five of which had been cleared. He came to have one hundred acres under cultivation, with well-tilled fields, comfortable two-story residence, good out-buildings and a fine bearing orchard. In 1873 he embarked in general merchandising, carrying on business for about two years, when he sold out; but about 1885 he again followed that pursuit with good success. In addition, he still looked after his farming interests.

General Notes: Wife - Mary Jane Glasgow

She was a lady of culture belonging to an honored pioneer family that founded the Glasgow settlement in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, in 1816.
