General Notes: Husband - Christian Glossner

He and his wife were born, reared and married in Germany, but at an early day crossed the Atlantic and located in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, whence they came to Centre County. Here he carried on farming throughout the remainder of his life.

He came from Germany, soon after his marriage, to settle in Curtin township. He had been in the military service in his native land, but his adopted country made no call upon him for other than deeds of peace. He was a member of the Reformed Church.
