General Notes: Husband - Elias Goehring

He was born on the family homestead farm in Cranberry township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, received a common school education, and was reared a farmer. After he grew to manhood he settled in Jackson township, subsequently removed to Adams township, and lived there for five years. About 1869 he purchased a farm of 200 acres in Forward township, where his sons, Harvey and Edwin E., later resided. There he was engaged in farming until 1893, when he purchased a farm near New Brighton, Beaver County, where he then resided.
