General Notes: Husband - W. H. Goehring


He grew up on his father's farm and was educated in the district schools. When he was 21 years of age he removed to Evans City, where he engaged in the grocery business. He came to own one of the finest stores in the city and carried a high grade line of staple and fancy groceries.
He was a Republican, a member of the Reformed church, and belonged to the Knights of Pythias.
