General Notes: Husband - Henry Ambrose


He was born in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, and came to Westmoreland County, with the family, in 1790. He was a farmer all his life, and a member of the Lutheran church.
The family homestead farm was located in Westmoreland County, about two miles north of Ligonier, on Coal Pit Run. It came into the possession of Henry Ambrose in 1804.
He and his wife had five sons and seven daughters.
