General Notes: Husband - John Vandivort


He grew to maturity on the family homestead farm in Cranberry Township, Butler County, PA. He operated the first saw mill in the neighborhood, and carried it on for many years. He was a celebrated marksman, and took great pleasure in attending shooting matches, where he often won the prize.
