General Notes: Husband - James Graham


He was born in 1840. [CAB, 589]
He was only a boy when the family removed from Beaver County, PA, to Bloomfield Township, Crawford County, where the better portion of his life was spent. He served two terms as clerk of the courts in Crawford County, to which position he was elected in 1881 and 1884, on the Republican ticket, and he held the offices of justice of the peace and school director in his home township. He was a prominent member of the Presbyterian Church at Meadville, serving as elder.

He learned his father's trade, working at building saw­mills, etc. In 1876 he was elected Justice of the Peace of Bloomfield Town­ship, Crawford County, PA, and continued in this office till 1882, when he was elected to the position of Clerk of Court.
