General Notes: Husband - Paul Faber Graham

He was born on a farm near West Fairfield, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and attended the district schools, afterward studying at Westminster College of the United Presbyterian church at New Wilmington. Until his marriage he assisted his father in the labors of the home farm. He was the first man to enlist from Fairfield township for service in the Civil War and at the close of his term, which was for three months, he reënlisted and served until the end of the war. He was one of those who endured captivity in Libby prison, being exchanged shortly before the return of peace. Mr. Graham became once more a farmer in his native township, but in the excitement which attended the inception of the oil industry migrated to the oil country. At the early age of thirty-two he was killed by a plank from a derrick falling on him while he was engaged in the work of bridge construction.
He was a Republican, and a member of the United Presbyterian church of Fairfield township.

All of his children, with the exception of the youngest, fell victims to diphtheria and measles.

General Notes: Wife - Mary W. Moorhead

After the death of her first husband she managed the farm for a number of years, and eventually married again. He second husband managed the farm until his death.
