General Notes: Husband - Abraham Frye


He and his brother, Samuel, settled in Washington County, Pennsylvania, about 1768 or 1769 on a large tract of land bordering on the Monongahela River and lying between Maple and Pigeon Creeks, the tract being about ten miles in extent and from a quarter to a mile in width. [TCHWWC, 1142]

He and his brother served in the revolutionary war, Abraham being captain and Samuel lieutenant.
