General Notes: Husband - Henry Greenawalt

---

He was educated in the public schools of his native town. In 1830 he began the butchering business in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, in which he was engaged until 1843, when he moved to the farm formerly owned by his father, on the turnpike in Hamilton township, where he remained until his death. He never aspired to public office, but gave his whole attention to his farm. He was a member of the Reformed Church.
