General Notes: Husband - Levi Griffith


He was a carpenter and builder, who located near Canonsburg, Washington County, Pennsylvania, after his marriage, and there followed his trade for many years.

He was born in Cecil township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where his early education was received. After marriage he resided in Chartiers township two years, then moved to Canonsburg, where he died. He followed the business of a contractor and builder, in politics was a Whig and Republican, and in religion a member of the U. P. Church, which he served as trustee.
