Washington, Washington Co, PA - a building contractor

He was born at Monmouth, Illinois, in 1875. [TCHWWC, 787]

He attended the Washington schools, having accompanied his parents there in 1879, and then learned the brick-laying trade and for ten years was engaged in general contracting. In addition to building many other residences, in 1903 he erected his own fine home at No. 405 Addison avenue.
He and his wife were members of the First United Presbyterian Church, Mr. Leslie being on its official board.
