General Notes: Husband - James Martin Hysong


He followed in the footsteps of his father and engaged in the coal industry in his native county and was his father's assistant and superintendent at the Loyalhanna Coal and Coke Company's works near Latrobe for fifteen years. He attended the Methodist Episcopal church of Latrobe and was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Odd Fellows orders. Politically he was a Republican.
