Buffalo Twp, Washington Co, PA - a farmer

He was an early pioneer of Washington County, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Seceder Church, and in politics an uncompromising Whig.

He was born in Ireland about two years before his parents came to America. He spent nearly all of his life in Buffalo township, and his business was farming.

She was a native of North Ireland, and came with her parents to America about the year 1790. They first settled in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, but about two years afterward removed to Washington County, and settled in Buffalo township.
