General Notes: Husband - Jacob Heberling


He was reared in his native county, and came to Zelienople, Butler County, after reaching manhood. He had learned the stonemason's trade in his early home, and one of his first contracts after coming to Butler County was the erection of the old stone church at Zelienople. He was a man of good education and taught school during the winter seasons.
He and his wife were members of the Lutheran church in early days, but subsequently united with the Methodist Episcopal church.

He and his wife had a family of twelve children, six grew to maturity.
