General Notes: Husband - John Guffey

He remained on his father's farm until his marriage, then purchased a farm in Forward township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, on which he lived until death. On this farm of one hundred and forty acres, he erected a substantial dwelling and a barn, and there lived a quiet, upright life. He was a Democrat in politics, served as school director, and with his wife was a member of the Round Hill Presbyterian Church.
