General Notes: Husband - Frank Carl Anderson

Receiving his early education in the elementary and high schools of the city, he prepared for college at Mercersburg Academy and graduated at Lehigh University in 1908, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He became connected immediately with the Dravo Construction Company of Pittsburgh, conducting business all over the United States until 1911, when he built a plaster mill at Sandusky, Ohio, known as the Kelly Plaster Company, which he ran for two years until he moved to Butler, Pennsylvania, to share in the formation of the Butler Plaster & Concrete Company in 1913.
Mr. Anderson was a prominent Mason; he was Master of Victory Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons; Past Commander in Lorraine Commandery; officer in the New Castle Consistory; and Potentate Representative in Syria Shrine. He was also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He was secretary of the Sterling Club, director and vice-president of the Country Club, and member of the Rotary Club and Board of Commerce. Like his father, he was a communicant of the Presbyterian Church.
