William R. Hadley was a native of Trumbull County, Ohio, where he was born March 6, 1843; was reared in Perry Township and educated in the district schools. He superintended his farm until his death. [HMC 1909, 1051] However this birth date contradicts information given on HMC 1909, 1050. This date of birth is given in another source for David C. Hadley, his brother.
