General Notes: Husband - William Hanna

A minister, he settled at Albany, New York, about 1765, where he served as the first pastor of the Presbyterian Church of that place. He became an Episcopalian clergyman and settled in Culpeper County, Virginia, about 1774, whence, on account of his Toryism, he was obliged to remove to Montreal, Canada, at the breaking out of the Revolutionary War.
