General Notes: Husband - H. Harper

The source does not make clear which of his father's wives was his mother.

He was reared on the farm and attended school at Greene Academy, but devoted himself principally to farming, and met with great success. He was a Republican in politics. He and his wife were prominent members of the M. E. Church. After retiring from the more active duties of life, they resided in Carmichaels, where they had a neat, substantial residence.
