General Notes: Husband - Samuel Harper


He was a merchant and farmer, who was born and raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He spent most of his business life in Greene County, Pennsylvania, and was one of its most prominent citizens. He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church for many years, and served one term as sheriff of the county. He was twice married and had ten children.
