General Notes: Husband - William A. Hartman


He attended the public schools in Armstrong and Butler counties, Pennsylvania, and parochial schools in Pittsburgh and Butler, and he also graduated from the Butler Business College. Very soon after he began his active career, he formed a connection with the American Mirror Works, and long remained with that concern, becoming its secretary and manager.
During the first World War Mr. Hartman gave active aid to the drives which put across the Liberty Loans and the Red Cross campaigns in his city. In politics, he stood with the Democratic party. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Butler Board of Commerce and the Rotary Club. The family were members of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church of Butler.

She was a victim of the terrible influenza epidemic which raged in 1918 and 1919.
