General Notes: Husband - Samuel Mackall

---

In early life he was a student in the Montgomery school of Greene township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He began work as a young man and was reared to manhood on what later became the James Calhoon farm, living on the old place until 1876, when he came to Georgetown, remaining in that locality for six years. He then moved to near his previous home, living on a farm of one hundred and twelve acres until April, 1908, when he returned to Georgetown, after that year making his home in that place. He had prospered in his farming operations and amassed a comfortable competence.
