General Notes: Husband - Christopher Haymaker


He was the first representative of the family to settle in the United States; he was a native of Germany, and lies buried at the mouth of Plum creek, where the village of Verona was later located.

Possibly one of this man's sons:
Frederick Haymaker was the private secretary of Aaron Burr during the alleged conspiracy troubles, but he remained loyal to the country, and afterwards removed to Ohio, where he reared a family of twenty-one children.
