General Notes: Husband - Joseph Haymaker


When he was seventeen years old, he ran away from school and joined the 4th P. C., serving until the close of the Civil War in the Army of the Potomac, part of the time as orderly on Gen. Warren's staff. He died of consumption, at the age of thirty-one, while practicing law in Pittsburgh.
