General Notes: Husband - Johann David Runninger

He came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, with his father in 1802. He was a farmer and served in the War of 1812 in Captain John Martin's Company of the 132nd Regiment of the Pennsylvania militia, commanded by Colonel Samuel Dale. He served as a private for one month and eleven days in early 1814 and again from 24 July to 8 Aug­ust in the same company.
