General Notes: Husband - Hans Hege


He emigrated from Switzerland with his family to the American colonies with his brother-in-law, Hans Leaman, and his family, and others in the ship "James Goodwill," of which David Crocket, of Rotterdam, was captain. They landed at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 29, 1727, and from there went to Rapho Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, settling near Manheim.

He emigrated to Pennsylvania from Rotterdam, landing at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sept. 27, 1727. Among the passengers on the same ship was his brother-in-law, Hans Lehman. He settled near Manheim, formerly called Sticklestown, in Rapho township, Lancaster County, where he purchased a farm. He was buried on his farm. He left a number of daughters and a son.
