The Sandy Lake Breeze:
The death of Frank B. Henderson, aged 76 years, which occurred on Friday, Decem­ber 22, 1944, removes a Sandy Lake resident who was well and highly esteemed throughout this community.
Mr. Henderson was born June 21, 1868. He was an oil well driller and contractor and when he left Titusville, he went to the West Virginia oil fields. He also operated in Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and California. Under contract with the Pierce Oil Co., he was three years in Mexico and three years in India. During the First World War he spent a year in England drilling water wells for the British Government. He also served several terms as justice of the peace in Sandy Lake. Funeral services were held at Sandy Lake, December 26, in the Wesleyan Church. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
