Franklin Twp, Fayette Co, PA - a farmer

He attended the public schools, grew to manhood on the farm, and after his marriage became a farmer on his own account, following that occupation all his active years. In 1906 he retired from active farming operations and then resided in Uniontown. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and in politics a Republican.
