General Notes: Husband - Jacob Jordan


He was born on the farm purchased by his ancestors. He received his education in the log schoolhouse, and lived in South Fayette township from the time of his birth to 1880. He followed farming all his life. He was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church; a republican in politics, and served as justice of the peace for ten years.
