General Notes: Husband - Frederick Hilliard

He was born either in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, before his father's departure, or in Clarion County, where the new home was established. He assisted his father in business, engaging with him in lumber and stock, and passed his life on a farm about four miles east of Rimersburg. He was politically a member of the Democratic party, but never aspired to office of any kind. He was a member of the German Reformed church, to which his wife and family also belonged.

General Notes: Wife - Mary Shick

Her parents were natives of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, whence they removed to Red Bank township, Clarion County, at a very early date.
