General Notes: Husband - Ebenezer S. Hogue

He came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 1844, taking up a large tract of land in what is now the village of Pinoak, Cranberry Township, part of which he cleared during his residence thereon. Selling out, he removed in 1865 to Wisconsin, where he farmed during the rest of his active years, remaining there until his death, at the age of ninety-one. [CAB, 634]

Another source states that he was born in Ireland. [HNWP, 224]
