General Notes: Husband - William Hough
South Huntingdon Twp, Westmoreland Co, PA
He was born on Paul Hough's run, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and was reared to farming. He was a democrat and held various township offices.
He owned a farm of two hundred and thirty-six acres, and like the majority of the farmers of his time he built and conducted a distillery. He was a liberal contributor to the Lutheran church of which he was a member and regular attendant.
He died at the village of Centerville, Westmoreland County. [BHCWC, 596]
He and his wife had fourteen children; eleven were still living in 1890.
