General Notes: Husband - John Reck

---

He was a carpenter by trade but later became a lumberman. He moved to Alliance, Ohio, but later returned to Pennsylvania, locating in Forest County. He was a leading member of the Greenback party and in 1879 was elected on the ticket of that party associate judge of Forest County, being the first successful Greenback candidate in the state for the office of judge.
Religiously, he and his wife were Universalists, but later became Spiritualists.
