General Notes: Husband - Miles Sage Howe


He received the benefit of an academic education, and was principally engaged in the oil business. He was a member of Myrtle Lodge, No. 116, F. & A. M., of Franklin, Pennsylvania, the Sons of Temperance, the Knights of Labor, and the A. O. U. W., and also the Producers' Association. Mr. Howe was an enthusiastic worker in the Temperance cause, and a supporter of the Prohibition party.

He was a traveling salesman, living in Florida, sixty miles from Tampa. [GPHNP, 1131]
