General Notes: Husband - Reynold Howell

A native of Wales, he was a Baptist minister. In the year 1718 he arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with his wife and six children. In the next year he settled on a farm near the Delaware River, and below the mouth of the Christiana Creek. This place proving to be unhealthy, he was induced to remove from there, and he purchased a farm in the Welsh tract, adjoining the present town of Newark, Delaware.
