General Notes: Husband - Kenneth William Hughes

He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with both B.S. and D.D.S. degrees in dentistry. He also did graduate training in oral surgery at the University of Michigan. He was engaged in the general practice of dentistry from 1947 to 1949 and after that he practiced oral surgery. He enlisted in the army in 1942 and has served as a career officer in the United States, Europe and Hawaii, becoming a Lieutenant Colonel. He was a Republican and a Presbyterian. He was a member of the American Dental Association, American Society of Oral Surgeons, O.K.U. Honorary Dental Fraternity and the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.
