General Notes: Husband - Samuel Bradley

A native of Ireland, he came to Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in the latter part of the 1700s. He was married in that county and several of his children were born there, and before they came to Franklin County. He moved his family to Montgomery Township, Franklin County, settling on the farm later owned by Johnston Bradley, in 1804.

A part of the old mansion, still habitable in 1887, was used as a block-house when the Indians were yet troublesome.
