General Notes: Husband - Alexander Clark

He engaged in farming in Plum Creek township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, he and his brother owning 975 acres there, ranging from South Bend township to what is now the borough of Elderton, most of which they cleared themselves. Alexander Clark settled there in 1820.
He and his wife had a family of ten children, three sons and seven daughters, of whom only two daughters survived in 1914.
