General Notes: Husband - James Potter


In connection with his brother John, he was extensively engaged in mercantile and manufacturing business. In 1856 he removed to Watertown, Wisconsin, and afterward to Madison, Indiana, where he died.

He was extensively engaged in business with his brother, John, but the firm of J. & J. Potter failed, in 1849. He afterwards removed to Indiana.
