General Notes: Husband - George McComb

He learned the blacksmith trade in his youth, and was working at this trade in the neighborhood of Dayton, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, at the time of his marriage. After their marriage he and his wife lived in Indiana County until about 1860, when they migrated to Illinois, and settled on a farm. He was then a farmer.
