Salt Lake City, UT
He was pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Salt Lake City, Utah, and preached there for many years. His interesting articles in the Church at Home and Abroad were widely read. It was no sinecure when he first went there to preach among the Mormons, sometimes under the guns of the U. S. fort.


General Notes: Wife - Sara I. Irwin


She graduated at Knox College, and for a period taught in the South. In 1878 she went to Salt Lake City as Principal of the High School Department of the Collegiate Institute.
