General Notes: Husband - William Wallace Irwin

He was the owner of Oak Grove Farm (Beaver County, Pennsylvania?), and a man of great prominence. He was a Republican in his political affiliation, and held a number of public offices, among them being those of sheriff, state treasurer and commissioner general. It was one of his greatest pleasures to breed fine horses, and those on his farm had a wide reputation.
