General Notes: Husband - Charles Walter Jackson


At the time of his marriage he was a traveling salesman for the Loose Brothers Candy & Cracker Company of Kansas City, Missouri. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas, for many years and were active members of the First Presbyterian Church in that city. About 1908 they and their three youngest children moved to Kansas City, Missouri.


General Notes: Wife - Anna Harriet Kuhn


She attended grammer school in Albany, Illinois; Lake Forest Seminary at Lake Forest, Illinois; Knox College at Galesburg; and the Chicago Art Institute in Chicago. When 19 years of age she came to Kansas to teach art at Baker University in Baldwin during the winter of 1882-83. The two succeeding years she taught painting at her own studio in Moline, Illinois.

She married 2nd, Dec. 22, 1919, in Chicago, Illinois, Hal McCarty Black, b. Feb. 19, 1886, Freeport, Ohio; d. Apr. 11, 1953, Wichita, Kansas. He was an attorney. Her residence in 1956 was in Wichita, Kansas.
2. Marjorie Jackson, b. Nov. 6, 1891, Wichita, Kansas; d. March 17, 1939, Wilmington, California.
She married 1st, June 13, 1921, Herbert P. Quarder, b. Norwood, Minnesota.
She married 2nd, May 3, 1930, Anaheim, California, Lester R. Patterson, b. Aug. 26, 1891. (He had been previously married.)
3. Errol Burton Jackson, b. Sept. 13, 1896, Wichita, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Navy in the First World War.
He married April 18, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, Bernice Nessley, b. May 30, 1893, Wichita, Kansas. (She had been previously married, 1st or a Mr. Willis, and 2nd to a Mr. Davis.)
Residence in 1956, Los Angeles, California.
4. Charles Walter Jackson, Jr., b. Apr. 22, 1898, Wichita, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force in the First World War; died in service, July 5, 1918.
