General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Jacobs


He received a good education, studied law, and practiced surveying and conveyancing, and was appointed under the constitution of 1790 an associate judge of the Court of Common Pleas. He was disowned by the Friends, Oct. 9, 1777, for signing paper currency for carrying on the war.
