In 1766 he was a warrantee of lands in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was probably the father of Josiah, Isaac and John, enrolled in Philadelphia County for service during the Revolution; of Rebecca, who married David Schryver of New York, and Elizabeth, who married Owen Glancy.
