General Notes: Husband - George Seaton


He came to America about 1778 and settled in the Ligonier valley, near Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He served during the Revolutionary War as captain in a company attached to LaFayette's division. After the war, he became a prosperous citizen of Westmoreland County. [HVC 1919, 459]

He had twelve children. [HVC 1919, 459] The daughter named Agnes may be identical with one of the other daughters listed.
