General Notes: Husband - Samuel Taylor


He came [to Allegheny County] from the eastern part of Pennsylvania some time previous to 1796, that being the date of the land-patent. He was of Scotch descent; served in the Ameri-can army during the Revolution, and died early in the 1800s, at an advanced age.

Her mother was killed and scalped by the Indians in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
